Professional Home Cinema, LLC was founded in September 2004 upon a simple principle: to combine the preeminent engineering technology from consumer and professional audio fields to produce the most accurate, robust and aurally-exciting audio products for
installed residential systems available. Six years later, in September 2010, we enter a new era demarcated by the introduction of a new brand mark: Pro Audio Technology. The company heritage, ownership and legal name remain unchanged; the new mark and its associated brand promise, however, make possible broader application of the company’s pioneering engineering technology and better fit our current corporate strategy. To those who already know us, the name is new; the promise to deliver truly unique high performance products is the same.

For those unfamiliar with us, Pro Audio Technology products unite lively dynamics, high maximum output level, and rugged durability
with the refined acoustic performance you’ve come to expect from contemporary home audio equipment. The result is a range of loudspeakers and programmable power amplifiers that, when combined, will offer years of incomparable sonic thrills.

Explore the site and you will discover that we offer a complete range of products to address every residential installed sound application:
from cost-effective whole-home audio to the most powerful professional-grade home cinema systems extant. And rest assured,
installing a Pro Audio Technology audio system is guaranteed to make sound fun again.

All PRO products are designed and manufactured in the United States of America.

Electronic House “Home of the Week” details the design and installation of a premium PRO Dolby ATMOS system within a 18th-century building fraught with unique physical and acoustic challenges.

Building a premium home theater with perfect acoustics is challenging enough. Doing so in an 18th-century heritage building, a mere 80-feet away from active train tracks brings a whole new meaning to the word ‘challenge.' Learn how our high-end AV dealer, Station Earth Total Home Technologies, overcame the challenge using Pro Audio Technology loudspeakers and amplifiers.

Paul and host Scott Wilkinson will pick up where they left off in Episode 164 on the topic of room-based system EQ.  Problems with common “EQ target curves” and the impact of the new immersive surround formats (Dolby Atmos, Auro3D and DTS:X) on deployment home theater audio systems will be discussed – drawing from common sense and presented in plain English – no audio engineering degree required!
